I am very pleased to invite you to our next Public Law in the Park session on Sunday 27 November, 12:30pm - 3:30pm at Observatory Hill Park, Upper Fort St, Millers Point. Peter King, barrister, will be speaking on the state of the public law. Mr King has appeared in key constitutional and administrative law cases throughout his career. He was previously a member of Federal Parliament, Judicial member of the former Administrative Decisions Tribunal and a senior Office Bearer in the United Nations, based in Paris for two years.
After the talk, we will have a picnic and discussion, while enjoying the amazing views on offer. Please feel free to bring a plate of food or drink to share.
Lawyers (and non-lawyers), students, colleagues, partners and friends welcome. Please click on 'register' in the attached flyer (or here:
https://events.lawsociety.com.au/2016/864/ ) to confirm your attendance.
The park is easily accessible by public transport. There are also some metered parking spaces closeby.
Please get in touch if you have any questions.
Look forward to seeing you there.
